This series of blogs allows me to go, controversially, in-depth on the themes now featured in “The Happipreneur: Why #MicroBizMatters?” (410pp: ChronosPublishing) and my “Who Wants To Be A Happipreneur?” show.
The blogs, book and show summarise what I’ve learned from research, founding national organisations to support #startups and starting and running my own businesses, with partners, for 35 years. The richest source of my learning is from interviews with over 2200 business owners, many are now friends and some are famous.
Each of us is unique and each of our businesses is unique but there are some common bad habits and some common good habits of business owners and side hustlers which can mean the difference between a happy, fulfilled, useful and enterprising life or one that can be marred by debt and anxiety.
I guarantee I’m the only speaker and author willing to say which snakes may be best avoided and which ladders should be found and scaled.
As the UK’s Number One Motivational Speaker, Brad burton, says of me as part of his contribution to ‘The Happipreneur: Why #MicroBizMatters?”:
“Want someone to tell you the truth? Go to the ‘dickhead’ in the red-feathered hat”. –
As George Orwell wrote: “During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act”.
Welcome to my enterprise revolution – Be more #Happipreneur!
